Visiting Shilpi - DAY 1

The first day of the trip began on 27th February 2017 by leaving from New Delhi railway station, at 6:00 am and reaching Jaipur Junction at 11:00 pm.

I and Monika, from there then booked an Uber cab and went to our hotel in sanganer. We got ready as soon as possible and left for Shilpi in siliberi!

We took a cab to shilpi and reached there after informing the NGO head, Mr. Brij ballabh Udaiwal. We were informed by Mr. Altaf ( the dyer and bandhini- craft coordinator for our trip) that he would be there at Shilpi on 27th April , so we thought we should meet him and fix up everything. 

After waiting for some time we were finally able to meet both Mr. Brij and Mr. Altaf. 

Mr. Brij was really kind enough to take out time from his hectic schedule and explain to us about the various crafts of Jaipur and also about Shilpi and also about things to do when we are there in Jaipur! Mr. Altaf was a soft spoken person who explained us the way to his house very properly so that we dont face any problem the next day. 

After Everything was sorted, we returned back to our hotel and planned for a change because we were in Sanganer and the craft was in the main city of Jaipur, so that night we planned the next day.
